Ho’oponopono – Self I-Dentity through Ho’oponopono (SITH)

Ho’oponopono, Self I-Dentity through Ho’oponopono (SITH), is an Hawaiian system of healing, problem solving and transformation developed by Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona an Hawaiian Kahuna Lapa’au. SITH is now commonly referred to as Ho’oponopono.

Morrnah Simeona (1913-1992) the developer of Self-I-Dentity Through Ho’oponopono (SITH) was an Hawaiin Kahuna Lapa’au kahea (one who uses words and chants to heal). SITH is based on the ancient Hawaiian healing system of Ho’oponopono (Ho Oh Pono Pono)

Morrnah Simeona was so respected and loved for her work with Ho’oponopono that in 1983 she was made a “National Living Treasure” by the Hawaiian people.

In Hawaiian the word Ho’oponopono means “to make right or to rectify an error.”

The Power of the Mind

The Ancient Hawaiians understood the power of the mind.

Centuries before mainstream science they identified the distinction between the Conscious Mind, Subconscious Mind, and Super-Conscious Mind, and the part they play in forming our present day circumstances.

Freedom from the Past

The main purpose of this process is
to discover the Divinity within oneself.

The Ho’oponopono is a profound gift which allows one
to develop a working relationship with the Divinity within
and learn to ask that in each moment,
our errors in thought, word, deed or action be cleansed.

The process is essentially about freedom,
complete freedom from the past”

Difference Between the Old & the New

The difference between the ancient system and the system developed by Morrnah is that:

  1. the ancient Hawaiian system is done within a group with a leader, while
  2. SITH is done by an individual.

Cleaning

The Ho’oponopono process is called “cleaning“.

Cleaning involves erasing recurring memories from our subconscious. These memories cause us to repeat harmful behaviour again and again.

Self I-dentity Through Ho’oponopono (SITH) builds on the traditional Hawaiian group process praying to the Divine Creator, and connecting problems with Reincarnation and Karma resulted in a unique new problem solving process, that was self-help rather than the traditional Hawaiian group process.

“Her system uses ho’oponopono techniques to create a working partnership among the three parts of the mind or self, which she calls by Hawaiian names, as well as by the terms subconscious, conscious, and superconscious.”

The Four Phrases of Ho’oponopono – SITH

Using the SITH Ho’oponopono process is quite simple and centres around the use of 4 phrases that are repeated over and over:

  1. I love you.
  2. I am sorry.
  3. Please forgive me.
  4. Thank you.

Who’s in Charge

The article “Who’s in Charge?” by Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, a long time student of Mornnah Simeona provides a great overview and advice on how to begin using SITH in your life today. This article is mandatory reading for people registering for classes with IZI LLC.

Dr. Hew Len has become famous around the world as a result of the book Zero Limits: The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace, and More written by Joe Vitale about Dr. Hew Len and how Joe discovered Ho’oponopono. Definitely a must read.

Dr. Hew Len has continued the work of his teacher Morrnah Simeona and developed the Ho’oponopono process even further with is work with The State of Zero.
